North East School Division #200

A partner in the North East Understanding the Early Years research project, North East School Division facilitated the gathering of information about children’s learning from kindergarten teachers, kindergarten children and their parents. Since a child’s early experiences between 0- 5 years of age determine his or her lifelong path of learning, North East School Division is very interested in supporting community and family efforts to enhance opportunities for early learning.
NESD provides prekindergarten programs for 3 and 4 year old children in Melfort, Nipawin, Tisdale and Hudson Bay.
