Eastern Region II Metis Nation (ER II)
ER II - Facilitates the delivery of Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program and the Community Action Program for children throughout communities in the northeast
Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP) - is designed to meet the needs of pregnant women who may need extra resources and services such as : prenatal vitamins, food supplements, one on one or group nutrition counseling, home visiting, collective kitchens and breastfeeding information, education and support.
Community Action Program for Children (CAPC) – provides support services to strengthen families through home visits, parent support groups, parenting classes, individual and group counseling, children’s playgroups, advocacy and referrals.
